The International Guitar Competition "Young Performers" 2009 will take place during the festival on 6th & 7th April 2009.

Jury:

Iwona Bodziak, Jorge Cardoso, Hans Peter Gatterer (president),  Helga Hamp, Elisabeth Irmler, Hans-Wilhelm Kaufmann, Ulrike Meitz, Victoria Zhadko. 

Those competitiors who are neither active participants nor auditors have to pay a processing fee of € 40,00 for the Guitar Competition. 

First Category:

- for participants of an age of 13 - 17 (age-group 1996-1992)

Official registration Monday 6.4.2009 - 8.30 - 8:45

Free choice of a program 2 different epochs from 
a) renaissance or baroque,
b) classic or romantic music
c) modern music (starting with 1919)

 with a maximum lenth of performance of 10 minutes

Second Category:

- for participants of an age of 5 - 12 (age-group 2004-1997)

Official registration Thuesday 7.4.2009 - 8.30 - 8:45
 
Free choice of a program 2 different epochs from 
a) renaissance or baroque,
b) classic or romantic music
c) modern music (starting with 1919)

with a maximum lenth of performance of 8 minutes

First Prize:  
Voucher about $ 250,-- by D'Addario Foundation (not in cash refundable)
Diploma, Evening Concert, Savarez Strings, refunding of hotel fee for one person (3 nights)

Second Prize: 
Diploma, Evening Concert, Savarez Strings

Third Prize:  
Diploma, Evening Concert, Savarez Strings
 

Special Prize for the youngest performer:  
Voucher about $ 100,-- by D'Addario Foundation (not in cash refundable)

The winners of the International Guitar Competition for Young performers Rust 2009 has to perform one piece for the evening concert of the festival on Thuesday 7th April 2009! 
 

Those who are neither active participants nor listeners must pay in advance a processing  fee of EURO 40,00 for the Guitar Competition!
