Composition of concert piece for a classical guitarduo (6 strings) a length of 5 minutes. Tolerances of the performance duration of 1 minute are permitted! The composer should create an unique, contemporary work that exceeds the boundaries of the usual genre. Prizes: Gewinner € 1.500,00 (EURO one thousend & five hundered) The winner of the first prize will be invited to participate as a juror of the guitar competition and the composition competition of the International Guitar Festival Rust 2021. Performance of the winner's composition at the final concert of the International Guitar Festival Rust 2021 by Diana & Gabriel Guillén (planned at Musikverein in Vienna). Professional audio and video recordings of this performance by studio.v4m.net All participants and jury members receive an e-book (PDF) with all contributions Registration The competition is open to composers of all ages and nationalities. The pieces must be composed for a 6-string classical guitarduo without any additive technology. The compositions must be send separately by email to the address composerscompetition.rust@gmail.com format PDF. Also an audio performance must be added to each post. This can be performed either by a human player or by a composition program. Recording format: MP3. The pages of the composition must be numbered and the title of the work must appear on each page. The name of the composer, on the other hand, may not appear on any side of the composition or the MP3 file! . Multiple submissions are allowed, but must be sent in separate emails. The entry fee must be paid separately for each submission! The fee for participation in the competition is € 75,00 (Euros seventyfive) for each contribution. Important: Registration for the competition will be accepted as soon as we have received the fee! The Slow Waltz, also known as English Waltz is a social and tournament dance in a ¾ time signature. The Slow Waltz is one of the classic standard dances and is usually danced at a tempo of about 30 bars per minute.
